場所:オペラハウス、サーキュラーキー 日時:4月26日(火)6pm~7Remembering Chernobyl – standing with Fukushima Candlelight vigil for Japan Enlarge image26 April 2011 is the 25th anniversary of the world’s worst nuclear catastrophe – Chernobyl in the Ukraine. It is also the 6-week anniversary of the still unfolding nuclear disaster of Fukushima, Japan
To honour and remember those killed, displaced and sickened by both nuclear crises, Greenpeace and 350.org are organising a candlelight vigil at Sydney’s beautiful Opera House.
This is a chance for the people of Sydney to come together and show their support for those suffering in Japan and the Ukraine, to stand with both communities as they remember their loss and care for their sick and dispossessed.
It is also an opportunity to respectfully remind the world that nuclear is never safe. For the sake of the planet and humanity we must embrace a clean energy future.
Please come along and bring your family and friends.
