A member of the hip hop group Black Eyed Peas was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana following a collision in Industry, authorities said Wednesday.
Jaime Luis Gomez, 31, was arrested following the collision on Grand Avenue and Valley Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, said Los Angeles sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Walk.
Gomez, known by fans as "Taboo," admitted to being one of the drivers in the non-injury collision, Walk said.
Gomez was released from the Industry Station's jail at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with a citation for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription, and driving under the influence, Walk said.
