米マリオット、スターウッド・ホテルズ買収へ−約１兆5000億円規模

（ブルームバーグ）：ホテルチェーンを展開する米マリオット・インターナショナルは同業の米スターウッド・ホテルズ＆リゾーツ・ワールドワイドを買収することで合意した。規模は約122億ドル（約１兆5000億円）。
16日の発表によれば、統合後会社が持つホテル数は計5500余りとなり、客室数は世界で110万室。世界最大のホテル会社が誕生する。

別の関係者は、中国企業少なくとも３社がスターウッドの買収を目指していると話した。海航集団（ＨＮＡグループ）と錦江国際酒店、政府系ファンド中国投資（ＣＩＣ）はそれぞれスターウッド全体あるいは一部の買収案を提示するため、同国政府に認可を申請したという。
