うっどさいどゼミコミュの英語(^^)

ビデオを観ていました。
その中でこんな表現を見つけました。

You wanna bite me, buy me dinner.

そのまま訳すなら　「おれを噛みたかったら(刺したかったら）　夕飯おごれ」
日本語のｾﾘﾌでは　「血を吸うなら　ﾃﾞｰﾄに誘え」

これは吸血鬼の物語なので　”血を吸うなら”は　うまい訳です。
”buy me dinner”　と”ﾃﾞｰﾄに誘え”は　無関係です。

どうしてこんな訳になったのでしょうか。
これは　ダジャレなんですよ。
”bite me”　”buy me”　　”バイトミー”　”バイミー”。
ト(t)の発音があるか、ないかのﾀﾞｼﾞｬﾚです。

翻訳者は　このﾀﾞｼﾞｬﾚに気がついたのかどうか。
また気がついても　日本語訳はかなり難しいでしょうね。

後半の部分を　私ならどう訳すか。
「血を吸うなら　”治水工事しな”」あたりかな。

It was a very beautiful day today.
Not so hot, not so humid, not so windy.

I walked in geta, Japanese traditional wood shoes.
I walked, walked, and walked.
And I am tired , but feel very comfortable.

I started karate again. Wow great!
I hurt my left elbow about two weeks ago while I was doing karate very hard.
Suddenly I felt a very strong pain in the left elbow.
So I was not able to do karate.
How miserable I was !

I resumed karate today. but I did it very carefully.
My experience of karate tells me
that I should do karate just a little day by day from now on,
then I would be able to practice karate as before. :) :) :)

There are 3 patterns of behavior of people when they hear rumors or things
that they do no know.

pattern #1 people that believe them automatically.
pattern #2 people that deny instantly.
pattern #3 people that neither believe nor deny, just put them into their
memory.

Do you know why I ask this to you?
My experience of teaching for more than 30 years tells me that
very excellent students' behavior is pattern #3.
They consider very carefully and judge by themselves, with intelligence.

I have learned from the students very much,
and I am proud of them. :)

It rained a lot today, and it is sunny right now.
But the weather forecast says it will be rainy tomorrow again.

I had 5 karate uniforms.
But recently 2 of them were torn down.

So I bought a new one, which was very expensive.
And I tried karate in the uniform.

This new one is wonderful.
I can punch and kick very easily.
And it makes splendid sounds.
If you are a karate player, you can understand what "sounds" means .

この訳はとっても日本語になりにくいです。（＾＾；）
そのまま訳すと「こんにちは、８月よ。私に良くあれ、いいですか」

あえて訳しました。　(＾◇＾)ﾓﾝｸｲｳﾅ

「おーい、８月よ。私をハッピーにしてほしいな。分かったかい」

小池さんとバッハさんの　話し合いを聞きました。
内容は　私にとってどうでもいいことです。
　　　　　　　　　　　　(*_*;ゴメン

二人の話し合いに使った英語のニュアンスの差は　すごかった。

小池さん側の英語は　押せ押せで、妥協は許さない。
私が主張が正しい、、、、

一方　バッハさんは堅苦しい言葉の使用は避けていて、
あまり含みのないものでした。
小池さんに押されている、、、という感じでした。

心の中では　”何だ何だ　あんた何でそんなにハッスルしているんだ”と、
思っているような。

このバッハさんは　日本でもめている事情が
よくわかっていなかったのでしょうね。
