ロンドン建築同好会コミュのLondon open house

Once in a year, a lot of well designed buildings are opened for public visitting. Some are very famous building like city hall, others are small houses.

This year, I got a powerful company from Germany, my friend Stephan. He is typical german charactor and really love to organize things. So I asked all the research for interesting buildings and I was having a cup of tea.
Well, in the end we visited a lot of buildings in one day and totally exausted in the end.
The funny thing is that I just realised all the building which we visited were reconstructed projects.
Journey started with small extension of tiny gallery in alleyway and another extension of smal house, goverment building next to big ben ,new connection for art university and end up with the dancing studio with twisted roof.
It was good experience for me to see reconstruction buildings because sometimes it looks good on photo but reality is quite different. This time most of buildings were quite well made on site. And I enjoyed seeing details as well.
Hopefully, I can have next journey next year.
