《 JUNE 》
Kettering出身のJamesとTomが、所属していたモッズバンドThe Moonsを脱退。
neo-psychedelic duoと銘打って 'Temples'を結成する
「バンドを結成する前なんだ。一緒に曲を書いてライヴをやっていこうとした段階で、Andy（Moonsのリーダー）がやろうとしていたことと、ぼくらがやりたいことがどんどんと離れていってしまってね。彼らのことをけなすつもりはまったくないんだけれど、なんて言うのかな、卒業したという感じ？ 実際、こうしてTemplesをスタートさせてみると、掛け持ちなんてする時間はまったくないことがわかったので、お互いにとって良い結果になったと思うな」と、The Moons〜Templesに至る経緯を語るJames
