Has anybody out there read Deathly Hallows yet? I bought it yesterday morning (July 21), finished work at 4 p.m. and read straight through until 3:30 a.m. It was definitely the most exciting and action-packed of the 7 books. For all of you who will wait for the Japanese-translated book to appear next year, it will be well worth the wait. In the meantime, if anyone has read or is reading the English version, i would really enjoy enjoy chatting with you about the book or the whole series.
Wow, you have finished it already?
As I am slow at reading whether it is in English or Japanese, I have not finished it yet.
I am now on Chapter 14.
I am now fighting hard against the urge to have a glimpse of last Chapter, or I will spoil my own pleasure of reading by myself
wow how can it b possible 2 read that thick book so fastIm just finished chapter 19i know its hard to stop readingthis one is the best!i can tell it even i didnt finish itwell as Tom said it worth 2 wait 4 Japanese translated onehope that translater will do well @ translate
I finished it last night!
It was an interesting story, but like
ShimakoNeNe said in her comment, it should have been
better edited, it should have taken a bit more time,
maybe.
And for people who start their reading from the last
chapter...what a waste!
So Ikazo, do your best!
and also, don't read beneath the line in this comment for it contains spoilers!

As for Hermione not recognizing Parseltongue,
I think Bathilda didn't say a word but just nodded until
she and Harry were alone upstairs.
It was a great shock to me when Nagini came out from her neck!
I personally had a real fun laugh when
Ron told Harry how he tried to open the
Chamber by imitating Harry opening the locket,
and Hermione just praising her boyfriend!
I just finished reading it the last book.
It was good but sad to see a lot of people dying.
I cried at chapter 32 because my most favorite character had died.
He didn't needed to be killed like that!
And also sad to see Remus and Nymphadora died during the war when they just had a baby.
I hope Harry will make sure that Teddy will be able to send a happy life.
I've finished, too ! I just couldn't take my eyes off of it, thought I had to work at home a bit, but then I replaced my sleeping and eating time with reading ! So I think I just succeeded dieting as well as finishing the book ;-) I wonder how many are there who just suffered so much loss of sleep..
Now I must get back to work...fighting the urge to reread the thing... no.no.no! Stop ! STOOOOP!!!
So shamed to say i could not fight off the temptation of wanting to read from the epilogue...
i finished reading the book last Wednesday despite all the housekeeping and babysitting i had to do.
i also could not keep my eyes off when i was mid-way thorough the book and sacrificed my sleeping time :)
Hopefully, everyone who lays their hands upon this last book will enjoy reading it just like me :)
I hope we can share the beauty of Severus Snape's love. When he said to Harry, "Look at me," my heart clenched. Was he happy, in a sense, to be able to embrace his most precious thing on the way to the grave?
Sorry I'm a newbie here at mixi. The comment is soooo late...
