悪いときはなんで悪いのかを言うことが必要になるよ★

Setsubun literally means “the day between two seasons”. People celebrate Setsubun on either the 3rd or 4th of February, the day before the first spring day on the present calendar.
（節分は文字通り「2つの季節を分ける」という意味です。立春の前日、現在の暦で2月3日か4日に節分を祝います。）
Bean throwing called mamemaki is done at home on the night of Setsubun. People scatter roasted soy beans inside and outside their houses shouting, “Fortune in, devils out”. Then they eat the same number of beans as their age and wish for good health. Bean is “mame” in Japanese which means good health.
At some houses, where there are especially young children, one of the family members (usually the father) act as an "Oni", and the kids throw beans at him to make him ran away.
（節分の日の夜には、豆まきと呼ばれる行事が家で行われます。人々は家の内と外に向かって、「鬼は外、福は内」と叫びながら炒った大豆を撒きます。その後、自分の年と同じ数の炒り豆を、健康を願って食べます。「まめ」という日本語は「健康」の意味があります。
特に小さな子供のいる家庭では、家族の一人（たいていは父親）が鬼の役となり、子供たちは鬼を外に追い出す為に鬼に向かって豆を投げます。）
Eating “Ehou-maki” is another special traditional event which has become popular recently. ”Ehou-maki” is a sushi roll made from rice, cucumber, shiitake mushroom, eel and so on. They say if you eat it facing the happy direction while keeping quiet, you will become happy.
（「恵方巻き」を食べることは、近年ポピュラーになっている別の伝統行事です。「恵方巻き」は、ご飯、きゅうり、シイタケ、うなぎなどで作られた巻きずしです。黙って恵方の方向を向いて食べると幸せになると言われています。）
