From humble beginnings as an electronic body music (EBM) DJ in the
late 80s in his native Madrid, Oscar Mulero has grown into one of
today's most highly-rated techno DJ / Producers. After almost
singlehandedly turning Spain's techno scene into one of the most
vibrant on the planet today, he makes his first appearance in China
courtesy of Shanghai's underground house and techno crew, VOID.

Mulero has played at all of the world's major electronic music
festivals and his work has been released on famous techno labels such
as Berlin's Tresor Records, as well up-and-coming new imprint TOKEN
who held a label showcase at Void last November.

His driving, atmospheric and complex percussive tracks often venture
away from the traditional 4/4 techno groove, indeed, he is a man of
many talents, going under the alias of Dr Smoke as part of the Dark
Archives Collective to promote the Drum 'n' Bass sound in the Spanish
capital, Madrid.

To get an idea of his sound, just look at some of Oscar's track titles
- "Only Dead Fish Go with the Flow" and "El Hombre Duplicado (the man
doubled)."
