Personally, I would like to go throughout several Asian countries, challenging myself to use 3 US$ per day.
I would start my trip in China, go southwards to Laos, Vietnan, Thailand. Later I would go to Bangladesh, Pakistan, India. And after that, I would go back to Indonesia to swim a little bit and head towards Japan.
Well....in order to do this I would need a good quantity of money. Self discipline. Knowledge in asian languages, mostly local ones, and of course rebuild up my body with hard training.
Ah...I have some special interesting about the place where Buddha got his Enlightenment...
And obviously, some special foods. Here, a dish from Indonesia!
In my case, I'd like to go to Europe, since I like view of there. For example, historical town, a castle, and so on.
If my dream came true, I would talk to people who live there in English and Europe language, because if I made friends, I could do heroi thing(笑) This is Europe culture, isn't it?
I have never been to Europe, but I should go at least once in my life...yeah, I completely agree with you, that's the best place in the world to do heroi things(笑) hahaha...
However....the risky of being deceived is great....for example, if you go to Spain, France or Italy....especially for Japanese, I guess it is important to have an aggressive attitude in order to protect your ownself.
I mean: mastering English is a condition, I would say. Another additional language would be very useful.
And, very important: if someone tries to deceive you, you should say clearly and straightforward: NO WAY BUDDY, KNOCK IT OUT!
Well...anyway, I am particularly attracted by Spain, for the food, and it is said that in Italy we can find "beautiful landscapes" (笑)
I like traveling, so I want to five countries in this year.(Korea,Singapore,Shanghai,Vietnam and Malaysia)
But These trips were only "Sightseeing".
I want to see not only cultural or natural heritages but also intercultural daily life,foods,streets,children,etc...
In Normal package tour between short span, we can see only surface of destination.
Of course it is good. It will be very beautiful and be impressed.
But I read some books write about some problems of world nations and I was shocked by their reports.
That`s why I want to not only go there but also understand bad aspects too.
So,I want to go America or India now.
Because I read about there countries.
America looks like development and the richest country in the world.
India is very remarkable country for rapid growth and enormous population,
But both countries have many problems.
So these are good country for my purpose.
I think your options are enormously interesting. I consider India a very interesting case due to the IT power.
Therefore, if it succeeds in India, their GDP will increase even more, without an enormous environmental burden caused by industrialization. However, I know that the cast (?) system in India may be a potential difficult issue to deal with.
In the case of US, it is undoubetdly the richest nation, but the social gap is bigger than Japan, which leads to higher unemployment rates and criminality.
I hope you can travel to these countries, and I am happy you have a dream.
