Where it’s at?
For the most part of the last 3 summers, it’s been in the loft and roof terrace of 93 Feet East, Brick Lane, East London.
Due to licensing problems for the latter part of this season, it’s been at The Poet, Folgate Street.
Also, an integral component of secretsundaze is special one-offs at various venues such as The Boilerhouse (massive warehouse on Brick Lane), a number of roof parties in and around the Shoreditch area, at the TDK Cross Central Festival and the secretsundaze sound system at Shoreditch carnival.

How long has it been running / your history?
Secretsundaze is a summer daytime party and we’ve just finished our 3rd summer. (3 yrs old). It started at 93 Feet East in May 2002. Since then, the party has grown from strength to strength, and taken on various unique venues along the way such as the ones listed above.
Pitch the party to us:
On a beautiful hot summers day we have an early start arriving at midday to “set up” only to find party – people waiting for us, still up from the night before. A huge part of the appeal of secretsundaze is our attention to detail on the production side of things which always includes our infamous giant disco ball! Within a short space of time the dancefloor is awash with a mass of colour. With a healthy contingence of Spanish, Brazilian, French and Italian party crews our mixed race straight and gay crowd always come with a smile and are totally ready to party. As the sun goes down and the night sets in, the music and the vibe takes on a new intensity and without fail always comes to an explosive finale.
Best night ever:
I don’t think we can single out one ‘best night ever’ because we’ve enjoyed so many so much! But a few highlights are - Ewan Pearson’s set at the opening party in 2003 (which incidentally led him to claim secretsundaze as his favourite gig in the UK), our residents roof party on Bacon Street (2003), 2,000 people raving at the Boilerhouse (August Bank Holiday Sunday 2003), the opening party this summer with Ralph Lawson, hosting The Cross at TDK Cross Central Festival (the first time it’s seen the decks outside in the garden, and from 3pm – 6am!) and the finale of the last 2 summers, the massive secretsundaze soundsystem at The Shoreditch Carnival, 4,000 people dancing in the street, bathed in sunshine in mid-September!
