I like to see red dragonflies flying against the sky especially when it is getting dark. Nowadays we have not seen them often, and I am very sad to know that some children brought up in cities have never seen them except in books. However, we have a good way to remember the red dragon fly, so that we will neve fail to forget its beutiful image. Once we have learned the song, "The Red Dragonfly", it is always with us; for the mere humming of the song can help us visualize its flight against the crimson sky. It is a long time since I last saw the red dragonfly. The number of red dragonflies may be decreasing, and some day no one will know what they are like. It is my sincere desire that all the Japanese should learn the song of "The Red Dragonfly" and cherish it in our hearts.
