I live in America and I want to send money to Japan. Does anybody know how to send money to Japan from America? When I asked the bank, they said that I needed the loading number of Japanese bank. When I called Mitsuisumitomo bank, they said that they dont have the numnber. I also tried western unioin before. It didnt work, actually. I sent 500$ to Japan and I never got money from western union. If you know hot to send money to Japan, please tell me.

I think what you need is SWIFT code（Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications）.

If you ask your bank in Japan, they should know their code.

makiko san. swift code doesnt work. ive tried, i need a routing number of japanese bank. its only way my bank said. have you sent money from america to japan by using american bank and swift code? if so, tell me which bank in america are you using to send money. thanks
