I am going to Melbourne on the Sep.12 and stay one year.
These day I was looking for language school in the Melbourne.
But I have never been to Melbourne so actually i am not really
know about this kind of informations.><
I dont know which area in Melbourne is teeming place
or which area is good for study.

And I have another question.
Melbourne lauguage school seldom have dormitory
When I asked them (language scholl) about accommodation
they said I have to live in the homestay.
I am not really want to live in the homestay...
I had rent the sharehouse in the America when I study in Seattle
So I was wondering could I do the same thing(rent sharehouse or
rent an apartment) in the Melbourne!?

I have no friend in the Melbourne now...><"

hi carol,

although i am not in melbourne, i used to live in there.
in my opinion, i recommend to study at latrobe university of language center.
this school is in la trobe university.
so you can use all of facilities of the university. also there are 3 domitories in there.

you can find the comminity of la trobe university. you had better ask someting to the people who join the comminity. i think they will help you.

i hope you can find good place to study.

I got the working holiday visa! have that visa can study and work in AU!
I don't want to just study there!
I hope I will also have working experenice in AU
Some of language school have the informations for student who looking for
the job. But University usually don't have this kind of information.
Thank you to your opinion.

i would recomend AMES International school. actually i have never been there but my friend told me that that was pretty nice.

However, depends on what you want after language school(after expire your working VISA) your choice might be different. Because certain language schools have strong corporation with certain TAFE and Uni. it mean that if you wanna go to TAFE or Uni for study after expire your working VISA you can get advantage to go there.

in the case of accommodation, depends how much can you pay for a week. i suggest you to decide your school first. once you decide your school you can decide nearer place for stay.

Mebl is a quite big city,I should find the accommodation near by my school.

Nice to meet you.

I used to live in Melbourne a year ago and went to Latrobe university
Language centre. I think it is a nice school, but this language school
was far from the centre of the city...
If you are planning to go to university or TAFE, you should choose
certain school.

Melbourne is a nice city to study...and will enjoy there.

however I live in share house from the beginning.
You can live any type of accommodations as you like.

Which school is good for you... it depends on your porpose.
TAFE,uni, private school for learning English....
Your wrinting is good, so you can go to any job training course,
which is barista, flower arrengement and etc..
(You have a working holyday visa, please confirm.)
There are a lot of Chinese agencies in Melbourne, you can ask them.

i'm a tawanese as well... first of all.. Welcome to Melbourne! ^^
i hope you will like the city.
如果有問題的話可以問我哦~ 可以回答妳的我一定幫妳~ ^^

as to where you want to study.. i would recommand 3 places.
1 is University of Melbourne language school.
2 is Geos in Melbounre CBD
3 is Cambridge

however, i'm not sure which one is good.. cause i have lived in Melbourne since i was 11 years go. ^^
anyway.. hope this helps ^^
