Roppongi’s gig last Friday was one of the biggest gigs we’ve played in a long time. Andy MacKinlay (Kinlay Band) organised it like a well oiled machine and all the bands did their bit to bring a crowd along, I’ve no idea how many people came out in the end but it was packed throughout the night. We ended up in Metropolis, all over myspace, facebook, twitter, our emailing list and of course word of mouth.
For the set we played
1.Big Blow (With Terminator Music Introduction – Dave’s idea) 2.Meltdown Mode 3.Money Shot 4.The Partition 5.Skin on Skin 6.Snack Mama Drama 7.White Night Boogie 8.I See Red
For the 40 minute set we ended up putting “Skin on Skin” back in the mix and finished with an old cover called “I See Red”. We had our Rockumentary crew there, I haven’t seen the live footage as of yet but Lori tells me that it looks good, I’ve still to upload all the photos that David Tejadilla took on the night (which were fantastic!), here is one of the crowd on the night.
I managed to fall off stage which was a first and on top of poor David, anyway in case you’re not on facebook or connected to us on twitter or myspace a BIG thank you for coming along last Friday, it was another very memorable night.
