I wanted to share the cover art for my upcoming album “Nikki by Starlight”
Miles Davis’s classic version of “Stella by Starlight” inspired me so much, I needed to do my own interpretation of it. When I did, I found new meaning in the lyrics.
“My heart and I agree
She's everything on this earth to me” .
The “she” in my story is jazz, And who I am when I sing it. Hence the album title. This entire record is my love letter to the genre. I can’t wait to share this work with you all in October.
