Birthday "Thank You’s"
Just a thank you to all of you who have sent your birthday wishes to Mike and I over the past few days...it's been impossible to keep up or reply to all of you! We appreciate it!
Also, a personal 'thank you' to the street team, fans, friends, and everyone who sent flowers and condolances to my family last week.
April is upon us. We're taking a short break (after 13 months of non-stop touring), but we'll see you soon! Important: be sure to keep hitting that Famecast site as hard as you can! For more information, go to www.cinderroadstreetteam.com - be sure to vote us to #1! The "peeps" video that you all love so much has been added permanently to the 'videos' section of the site. Lastly, don't forget to keep calling your local stations for SKB, keep it rockin'! See you soon!
Hey Everyone,
Sorry its been a while since I've written. Let's just say I've been a bit busy but what else is new! The KISS tour has been incredible to say the least. It's funny because I still don't think this whole experience has caught up to me yet. I guess when you do something this big, it's like being awake for a dream if you know what I mean. I guess going to dinner with Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Doc McGhee is normal for some people but not for us. On the other hand I feel like the band and I are finally where we belong... Playing Rock & Roll shows for thousands of people in Arenas. It just feels right. Hopefully we will have many many more experiences like this in the future. I would say thus far that my favorite shows have been Verona Italy, Sofia Bulgaria and St. Petersburg Russia. The crowds were just over the top in those cities. As far as my favorite cities to visit... Moscow is a must as is Prague. Both beautiful and full of thousands of years of culture and architecture. As we have hit the half way point on this tour my focus is moving to the Warped Tour. This is where all of you come in (ST or not, we need you all). We are getting ready to join a very well established tour which is not a genre which we are not a part of. In Cinder Road we have always walked the line of Rock and Pop and a million other monikers. So when we get out on the Warped Tour we truly hope the Warped fans accept us as the fans of every other band and tour we have been on have. An important part of this to me is making sure that the warped fans know a little bit about us before we get there.... For example lets get things posted on the warped tour forums, I know these fans are very active on the internet. Secondly it would be really great to see a bunch of familiar faces out there when we hit the stage each day to get the crowd riled up. We also plan on releasing a new single this summer. Details to follow. I know you guys and gals are experts on the radio dept so you all know exactly what to do when we put the tune out there. Keep in touch my friends and thank you for the continued support.
We returned to one of our "Home Away From Homes", Albany NY this weekend for Edgefest 2008. We shared the stage with Filter, POD and many others to an audience of over 7,000 people! The local news stopped by to get some footage and yours truely was the band they shot. Check out the footage...
It's been quite a year for us here in 2008. We have had the pleasure of touring with some amazing bands like Tesla, Alice Cooper and of course KISS amoung others. We have once again seen the true power and commitment of our very dedicated Street Team and Fanbase with out wins at Famecast (Please don't forget to keep voting!!). Finally we have had the opportunity to truely get to know our fans through our constant touring, which has been a great honor. With that we have decided to put all of our focus (for the time being) into the next chapter of CR. We are currently in full time writing mode. I want this next album to really touch people and get the world's attention. So I'm guessing this make take a while! Don't worry we will still do a few shows here and there. I can't stay home that long, all of you know that! We are also very excited to have "SuperHuman" released November 26th in Japan. Our friends at Yoshimoto R & C (our Japanese Label) have been awesome. So far the response to SH has been great. We are planning to do a Promo Tour of Japan this first week of October to talk to the press and get the land of the rising sun hyped for Cinder Road! I can't wait, I really love Japan. I also wanted to mention that we will be debuting the brand new music video for "Should've Known Better" today, so please be sure to stop by and check it out. Finally I wanted to let everyone know that we are also starting to put together the long awaiting DVD that I have been talking about doing for years. We have so much footage it's not even funny. Our plan for the DVD is to compile video from the making of "SuperHuman", clips from all of our tours and finally we will add your favorite VTDs. It's really funny to watch how we have grown over the past 2 years. I think you guys are really going to enjoy the DVD, there is a ton of really funny clips as well as come really cool concert and behind the scenes footage. We plan on releasing this before Christmas, so everyone can get their friends and family Cinder Road DVDs for the Holidays!
