The Morning After Girlsを脱退したそうデス．．。

今のとこAimeeのmyspaceのブログで公表されてるだけでバンド側からは何もない状態です。以下コピペ。

a morning after girl no more....

after a fairly decent 3 year stint, the time has come to bid adieu and announce my departure as well as scott's from the morning after girls (which is sad news for some, not so sad for others), due to irreconcilable differences within the band.. it kinda sounds like what people say when a marriage busts up, but i guess that's just what it's like.

i'd like to thank anyone & everyone for making my last couple of years on the road so much fun. i have so many wonderful memories (and so many fuzzy blurry spots where my memories would have been but i know they were fun at least because i can't remember them...)

i'm a big believer in all things happening for a reason, and i guess this is the end of the journey with this particular collective.. but, having said that, i won't be fading off into nothingness.. there's a new project on the horizon that i'm excited to be focusing my energies on in the coming months, but more on that later..

for now, that's all that can be said.

ショックです。
3月にシドニー行ったらもしかしたらライブ行けるかなって
思ってたので。。
今はみんなの、といっても個人としての活躍と幸せを祈るしかないですね。
さみしいです。

正直かなりビックリです。
結局あたし達ファンには成り行きを見守るしかないのでしょうが、やっぱり寂しいですね・・・。

to whoever is interested in reading this..

as the previous 'blog' says, scott & myself are no longer in the morning after girls.. i / we are grateful to people who sent in personal messages and i've since responded to most of those with the news of new songs + a new myspace profile..

at the moment scott & myself are writing + recording these tracks ourselves (with a little help from our friends on occasion..) we were very lucky that the wonderful mr. ricky maymi is in australia on holidays @ the moment and recently put down some wonderful guitar parts on a couple of tracks (these have not yet been posted anywhere as we're still working on mixing...) as well other bits & pieces from personal friends back home in australia (thank you archi fires...)

so yes... didn't want to send out an official notice early on as recent events were quite humbling and we certainly wanted to keep this on the down low for a while... but it seems practical to do so now that some people have been interested in what we are doing... (thank you).

still going to the states later this year to record but for now will be busy writing & recording..

so thanks to anyone who sent messages & anyone else who took the time to read this.
