I've been living and traveling in Aisa for the past 13 years. In Japan for more than 7.
I love being out in the world. Experiencing different cultures. Learning different languages. Meeting amazing people.
I don't think I'll ever go back to America.
This is my wife Laykah. She's Japanese. We met in Thailand, lived there for a while and got married here in Japan. She loves traveling as much as I do and she's been all over the world. She's beautiful, smart and tough. The perfect woman for me really. I'm a lucky man.
We have two boys, Jiri and Teo. They are a lot of fun and a lot of work. That's the way it is with kids.
It's a good life here in Japan. The boys have grown up here. It's safe and clean. A great place to raise children. But now we're ready to leave Japan. Ready to begin a whole new adventure. Ready for new challenges.
I've teaching English for 10 years, but not anymore. I decided to follow my dreams and try something new. Life is just too short, you know. So with the help of a good friend and fellow teacher Terue, we're launching a web site for English learners. It's a big challenge. A big dream. But we have to try.
Laykah is a web site designer. She builds the web sites, and does an amazing job. But here real love is Yoga. She's been practicing hard and studying with some of the best teachers in the world. I know she's going to make an incredible yoga teacher one day.
I've been traveling for the past three years, with my friend Masashi fromTabisora.com. Going to different countries and shooting tons of video.
And the boys, well they just do what little boys always do. Grow Play around an enjoy life only the way kids can.
Now it's time to face our fears and ride on the wind. Trusting that the universe will carry us in the right direction.
Oh yeah, The big move. We're moving to India in 180 days. So we have just 6 months to make the money and make it happen! So why India? Well, there are a lot of reasons, but I guess mainly... because it's India! Is there anyplace in the world more colorful, more beautiful or more intense.
And it's not all a shit hole. There are some really nice places, especially some nice beaches, and that's where we're going. We're going to Goa India.
So you better wish us luck, and I hope you'll join us every on this real life adventure and watch as we go insearch of the "Spice of Life"
