I Love Kailua Town Party

All day street festival in the East Oahu town of Kailua that features live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, plant displays. The event is a benefit to pay for planting projects in Kailua. You can support the beautification of Kailua by purchasing an event button at a Kailua store during the month preceeding the event. The 2009 I Love Kailua Town Party took place on April 26, 2009.

Waikiki Spam Jam

This popular annual street fair is one of the world's largest tributes to SPAM, a canned luncheon meat that is hugely popular in Hawaii. Stop by and try SPAM entrees, buy SPAM-themed products, enter a SPAM eating contest or a Mr. and Mrs. SPAM contest, and watch some of Hawaii's top entertainers on two stages. The 7th annual Waikiki Spam Jam took place on Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Annual benefit for the Life Foundation, an organization established in 1938 to provide HIV-related care and prevention services in Hawaii. The 18th Annual Honolulu AIDS Walk took place on Sunday, April 19, 2009 and the 19th Annual Honolulu AIDS Walk will take place on Sunday, April 18, 2010.

Kailua Dash and Splash Biathlon

Annual two-sport event organized by the Kailua Canoe Club in East Oahu. The event includes a 2.8 mile run around the Lanikai Loop and an 800 meter swim from the Lanikai Boat Ramp to the beach park. The 2009 Dash and Splash Biathlon in Kailua took place on April 26, 2009.
