King Solomon's Language CafeコミュのAFRICAN AWARENESS MONTH: THEME FOR INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES IN FEBRUARY

“African Awareness Month” (also called “Black History
Month”) is celebrated in the month of February in the United
States of America and in Canada. It is a celebration of the
contributions of African and African American people have made
to these countries and the collective human experience.

It is also a reminder that human history is a collective and all
groups have made significant contributions. Ultimately a greater
understanding of the contributions that different groups have
made to our human history will bring us closer to understanding
that we are all a part of the same human family and there is
only one “race” of people, the “human race!”

“Black History Month” was created by a historian Carter G
Woodson in 1926 as “Negro History” week and later evolved into
an entire month of celebrations! For the month of February I
will post quotes by famous African and African American people!

My purpose for sharing these inspirational quotes with you is to
encourage you and I to think about our lives in a different way,
perhaps a more positive way. By changing the way we think and
talk about our lives in this precious moment we have an
opportunity to create a more enjoyable life experience.

The will be additional quotes posted in my INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES
COMMUNITY
