さて、今回は 「maid in manhattan」を取り上げようと思います。
ジェニファー・ロペス演じる未婚の母マリッサと、議員を目指すクリスの恋のお話。
ジェニファー・ロペスがホテルでメイドとして働いていて、
ひょんなことから恋のお話が始まります。

★chapter 1-1★ 朝、マリッサの家。学校に遅刻しそうで急いでいる。
Marisa: Come on. Get your coat. We gotta go. You have everything?
Ty: Yeah.
Marisa:
Hurry up, sweetie. We're late. Ty. Today, papi.
You're killing me, Ty. Right now, you're killing Mommy.
Okay, let's go.
Ty: It's not my fault, Mom.

(家から出る。タイがヘッドホンをつけている。)
Marisa: All right. You want to do your speech for me? Ty! Hello?
(ヘッドホンを取る) That's better. You don't have to listen to that 24 hours a day.
Ty: (靴がぬげる) Wait. It's Simon and Garfunkel.
Marisa: That's why I tell you to tie your shoes. I know. I'm sorry. Oh, my God.
Ty: You can't just turn them off, Mom.
Marisa: I understand, baby. Come on. Careful of the puddle.

(バスに乗る)
Marisa: Let's go.
Ty: Will I get in trouble if I didn't give my speech? Because I'm not really feeling it.

Marisa: What do you mean? You've been working all summer on that speech.
I can't wait to hear it.
Ty: It's boring.
Marisa: Not to me or to abuela or to your dad.
Ty: I thought we were meeting him after.
Marisa: No way. He's coming, and then you guys are going camping. Remember?
Ty: He's gonna be late, and then everyone will see.
Marisa: Look, he knows what time it starts. Don't worry, he'll be there.
Hey, look at me.
Ty: What?
Marisa: You got something on your face there.
Ty: Where?
Marisa: Right there. (タイのほっぺに何度もキスする)
Ty: Ma! Mom! Mom, no. Stop!
Marisa: There it is. I got it!
(学校に到着)
someone: Hey, guys. How's it going?
friends: Hey, Ty.
Ty: What's up? (マリッサの方を向いて)The speech thing is at 4:00.
Marisa: I know. Come here. You got something on your face.
Ty: Mom!
Marisa: What?
Ty: Please.
Marisa: I'm sorry. Mr. Cool Guy. I love you. Have a good day.
(マリッサホテルに向かう)
