映画で英語♪コミュのYou've Got Mail Chapter 11-1

やっと自分の時間ができました

今日から Chapter 11です。長いけど、難しくないですよぉ。

☆Chapter 11-1☆ パーティでキャスとジョーが対面。
man1: Champagne, please.
Joe: Stoli on the rocks. But a fresh glass pease.
Kath: White wine, please.
bartender: Here you go.
(キャスがジョーに気付く。)
Kath: Remember me from the bookstore?
Joe: Of course I remember you.
Kath: How's your aunt?
Joe: She's great. Thanks. I'd better go deliver this.
I have a thirsty date. She's part camel.

part 一部は (副詞)
Kath: Joe, right? Joe, isn't it?
Joe: And you are Kathleen.
Kath: Kathleen Kelly.
man2: Two white wine, please?
man3: I cannot believe that you were speaking to Joe Fox.
Kath: Joe Fox? As in...
man3: As in, he's going to take over everything.

take over 連れて行く・獲得する
(テーブルの食べ物を自分の皿にもりながら)
Kath: Fox? Your last name is Fox.
Joe: F-O-X.
Kath: God...I didn't realize. I didn't know.
Joe: Who you were with? I didn't know who you were with?
Kath: Excuse me?
Joe: It's from The Godfather. Sorry, it's from The Godfather.
It's when the movie producer realizes that Tom Hagen is an emissary of Vito Corleone.
Just before the horse's head ends up in the bed with all the bloody sheets.
Wakes up and it's... ah..ah!..ahh!! ...Never mind.

emessary 使者, end up 最後には～になる

とうとう対面しました！！
このシーンふつうに見て、ジョーはやなヤツですよね。。

man3: あの, 彼はするつもりだ/ すべてを獲得する.
(テーブルの食べ物を自分の皿にもりながら)
Kath: フォックス? あなたの名字がフォックスなのね.
Joe: F-O-X.
Kath: なんてこと...私はわからなかった. 知らなかったのよ.
Joe: 君は誰といた? 私は知らなかった/ 君が誰といた?/
Kath: どういうこと?
Joe: The Godfatherだよ. ごめん, Godfatherのセリフさ.
映画のプロデューサーが気付いたときの/ Tom Hagenが使者だと/ Vito Corleonの./
ちょうど前/ ウマの頭が最後を迎えた/ ベッドで/ 血だらけのシーツの. /
目覚めて... ah..ah!..ahh!! ...気にしないで.

・the horse's head ends up　はこの解釈でよいのでしょうか？

ｷｬｽ：白ワインを。　　　あら！前に会ったわ。
ｼﾞｮ：もちろん覚えてる。
ｷｬｽ：伯母さんは？
ｼﾞｮ：元気だよ。これを連れに。ラクダみたいに飲むんだ。
ｷｬｽ：ジョーだったわね？
ｼﾞｮ：君はキャサリーン。
ｷｬｽ：キャサリーン・ケリーよ。
男2：君がジョー・フォックスと話すとは。
ｷｬｽ：ジョー・フォックス？
男2：あの買い占め一族だよ。
ｷｬｽ：フォックスは名字？
ｼﾞｮ：F-O-X.
ｷｬｽ：あなただなんて思いもしなかったわ。
ｼﾞｮ：“どこのヤツだ？”“知らなかった”
ｷｬｽ：何それ？
ｼﾞｮ：“ゴッドファーザー”だよ。あのせりふ。覚えてる？
トム・ヘイゲンがコルレオーネの使者でさ。ベッドに血まみれのウマの首が転がってて．．．　　　
．．．いいんだ。

・the horse's head ends up　は“ウマの首が転がってて”でした。
　大体の感じは正解だったかな。
