Whether you followed his career From North Carolina to Washington, remember Buggin' Out's sneaker mishap in Do The Right Thing, or just fiended for his groundbreaking signature shoes on the racks, it's a safe bet that even if you didn't want to be like him, Michael Jordan's name still holds a certain reverence. While Mike isn't one for interviews and personal appearances, Nike are bringing him over to the UK alongside his genius design associate, Mr Tinker Hatfield this month. Opportunities to see Jordan in the flesh are rare- to see him and Tinker relaying a few stories from their time together, generating endorsed products that still bring even the most casual heads to fever pitch (check out our Nike forum for evidence) is something you just might want to catch.

In a nutshell, Michael Jordan and Tinker Hatfield will be appearing in central London on the morning of the 20th of October. Before you Jumpman obsessives break out the tents, it's strictly invite only. We've got 40 guestlist spots, guaranteeing entry to the event. To bag one, we want to see your Jordan crates - and it's not necessarily about numbers. Feel free to present your Jordans in an innovative or different way to the usual murky bedroom floor to be in with a shot and send us the pictures.

But that's not all. There's the chance for one of you to make the day even more memorable. But of course, there has to be a catch - in order to win this prize, we want to see you go the extra mile like the man himself. In addition to your Jordan Crate, send us, in prose, artwork, photograph, film or even music, what Michael Jordan means to you. Email your images and reasons to competition@crookedtongues.com by this Friday (the 13th of October - this time it'll be lucky for some) and we'll be judging them in-house.
