CROOKED TONGUES＆A.S.J.U.コミュのVans 'Black Plus Pack'

It's that time again, the clocks are about to change followed closely by the weather. Time to take the suedes and meshes out of rotation and revert back to the colour of darkness. On our travels round the way, we spotted these niceties. Yep, they are skate shoes, but damn nice ones. Two parts of the Vans 'Black Plus Pack', and very reminiscent of the past ballistic Syndicate SK8 Hi's (which received much love) the TNT II and the No Skool shown here are the business. Built like brick isht houses, but still able to retain nice clean lines and good shape. The uppers feature the same hardcore rubberized kevlar material last seen on those Syndicate Hi's set off against a supremely tough woven ballistic nylon.

The Tony Truillo TNT features the only touch of colour in the pack, with their lightning flashed footbeds. The shoes also get embellished with the classic back tab, but printed in silver.
