Sono giapponese ma mio marito e inglese.
Habito in Londra.

Vorrei learn to speak italiano.
I am currently using a rather bizarre tape by the magician Paul Daniels.

It is quite funny, but is not teaching me any sentences.
Please can you suggest some "essential phrases"? (NOT like "where is the post office")

I love Rome and Italy, and would like to join your commu.

well, i can teach you that "I live in London" is "abito a Londra" in italian.
and "I would like to learn to speak italian" is "vorrei imparare a parlare l'italiano".
the first sentence was perfect.

stanno bene i tuoi genitori? or
come stanno i tuoi genitori?

3. did you have a good flight?
hai fatto un buon volo? or
come e' andato il volo?

4. i am glad you had a good time.
sono contenta che ti sia divertita.

Hmm pensavo di aver scritto un messaggio qui, forse
ricordo male (sara' l'eta'?)

Comunque ... io sono Enrico, abito a Roma, e sono molto
contento se qualcuno vuole fare scambio linguistico
via e-mail, io comincio adesso a capire e scrivere frasi
molto semplici in romanji ma spero di migliorare nei prossimi 2 o 3 mesi e di imparare i kanji piu' semplici.
