突然ですが、明日、１月２７日日曜日の午後に、
私の１分のせりふなしの映画に主演してくださる女優さん
(２０から３０歳、セミロングまたはロングヘア）を探しています！
撮影は、USCのすぐ隣で行い、食事をごちそうさせていただきます。

Role needed:
Mariko - Cameo / FEMALE / 20 TO 30 / Asian, Japanese
Mariko is a young, beautiful, confident, and intelligent Japanese woman who in a writer and translator (English & Japanese). She lives Los Angeles. She has many good friends, but considers her boyfriend of 3 years to be her best friend. Losing him means losing not only the love of her life but also her best friend. She is definitely having the worst day of her life.
Project Notes:
The union status of this project is SAG WAIVER. I have written, produced, directed and edited several short films. This time, I will shoot a one-minute, in camera editing film that will give my signature and a first look on my style to show to the new USC Graduate Film Program I am now enrolled in.
Many leading international filmmakers created their own one-minute film to commemorate the centennial of the Lumiere Brothers first “motion picture”. I am also expected to offer my own signature to the film by letting my emotions speak.
No dialogue. Sound track and music allowed no lyrics. Only 3 takes are allowed.
Story-line/Logline:
The BACK-STORY BEFORE the shot scene starts:
It is a Sunday afternoon. Out of the blue, your boyfriend of 3 years tells you on the phone that it is over, and that he wants to see anther woman. You freeze, and become devastated. You beg him to stay with you, but all he keeps saying is, “No, I can’t. I’m sorry.” Then he hangs up on you. You sit down on your bed hopelessly in your shirt and jeans, and cannot hang up.
The ACTUAL SHOT scene:
The scene starts with a CU shot of you. You are breathing fast. You hang up the phone. You barely stand up, but walk around the room restlessly. You just cannot calm yourself down. Then, you madly take off all the blankets and sheets from the bed. You get short of breath. From your desk, you pick up a framed photo of your now ex-boyfriend and you, and gradually get on your knees. You cry, slowly put the frame down on the floor, and powerlessly lie down, looking into the space. The scene ends with a CU of your face.
