ウィニペグ（カナダ）コミュのJapanese Pub Night

みなさん、こんばんは。
日本人や日系カナダ人、日本文化または日本語に興味があるカナダ人みんなが集まれる飲み会を企画しました。みんなでわいわいやりましょう。うまくいけば、毎月,第一金曜にやる予定です。このイベントに興味のある人を誘って、ぜひ参加してください。

若い学生だけでなく、仕事をばりばりする年代の方や子育て中のお母さんたちもたまの息抜きで、来てください。もうすでにリタイヤした方もパティオは意外と静かなので楽しめると思います。

金曜の夜はいろいろと忙しいかもしれませんが、このイベントに来ると新しい友人ができたり、仕事がみつかったりするかもしれません。お酒を飲みながら楽しく時間を過ごせるイベントになると思います。当日、このバーで出会えることを楽しみにしています！

Hello everyone!

I think we could all use a fun, cozy and totally casual regular night out on the first Friday of each month, so here’s the first of (hopefully) many. Everyone is invited, whether you’re Japanese, Japanese-Canadian, fluent in Japanese or just want to say Konbanwa (Good evening in Japanese) over some brewskies.

Now, in the event that this event conflicts with something else in your schedule…consider the benefits that may come from attending:

: You’ll meet new people and make connections.
: You may find a job or a worker (business owners).
: You will definitely make new friends (perhaps if you are lucky, boy/girlfriends ).
: Chances that you’ll find people who share the same interests or hobbies .
: You’ll pick up some new Japanese or English words (maybe both?) .
: You’ll get the opportunity to hear and share stories of adventure from both Japan and Canada.
: You can do…pretty much anything else you can think of, so long as you are considerate of the other patrons of the bar (and the laws of the land).

Rule 1. Please invite any friends you may have that have even an inkling of interest in Japanese culture.
Rule 2. We DO NOT talk about Night Pub.
