One of my favorite places to eat in California is a restaurant chain called “BJ’s Deep Dish Pizza” they are known for having gourmet pizza and they brew there own beer at the restaurant. So always you will get the most freshest, tastiest, beer along with your meal.

A few days ago I went go have lunch at a very popular restaurant chain called Yard house. They are known for their gourmet burgers and steaks. They have a good upscale sports bar appeal, and ambiance. Also this restaurant is a beer drinkers restaurant, it looks like they have about 100 beers on tap, but the only problem is that I think they over charge, it will cost you about $5.50 for a pint.

paulaner lager
very good 8.2
had a nutty taste

Some type of amber beer
Also very good 8.2
fruit aftertaste.

Last week I went to a restaurant called Ramano’s Macaroni grill, I was driving all day long helping out my brother so I was glad to meet the rest of the family for dinner and of course to get a drink.

This restaurant has become a popular restaurant chain over the past 2 years but I have never been because a friend told me it was not that good.

The ambiance was nice and service was good. The complementary chibatta bread was very delicious as an appetizer

Sadly the restaurant did not have a large beer selection! My choices where very limited, but I went with an Amstel Light. A very good light beer, but it has that Holland logger taste and smell, it was good but for some reason Holland beer smells and tastes funny to me.

My Cuz ordered his favorite type of beer, Hefeweizen, or wheat beer. For some reason in California we have become accustomed to serving Heff with a piece of citrus fruit, but I don’t think that it’s a native German custom to do so. In California they make a good Hefeweizen at BJ’s Pizza restaurant, but they discourage adding citrus juice to their brew because it will actually destroy the complex flavor of the beer

I strongry recommend Sapporo Classic. this can be see at the shop only Hokkaido...but maybe you can see in the Chitose airport:)- still, it is my best one:)
