This is a communal message to all the people who were at Modern Times on the 12th, but also to all of those who wished they could have made it, or who tried to and could not. I know some of you travelled a long way to be in Kyoto on that night, and I am truly humbled by your affection for my music. I hope that you all felt that the effort had been worthwhile.
This small gig strengthened my belief that there is something very special between Japan, its people, and me. And my special wish for 2007 is that, soon, I'll be able to come back and, this time, with a couple of musicians, to offer you another side of Louis Philippe live. Thankfully, it looks as if this will take place, and probably some time in the autumn. I shall have more news soon. If you want to keep being informed of what I do and plan to do, remember that you can visit my myspace page (www.myspace.com/louisphilippemusic) or my website (www.louisphilippe.co.uk) where I'll be delighted to add you as a friend, and where you can share your thoughts with other fans from all over the world.
I'll now come back to my work in London - which is finishing for good the album ('An Unknown Spring') of which you heard many songs last week. Until I see you all again, please accept this small message of love and gratitude.

I'd hate to have someone travelling 5 hours
on the bullet train only to find out that
Louis is there, but with no band.
という言葉を読んでたけれど、
神奈川から京都まで密航してしまいました。
バンドメンバーを連れての再来日、心待ちにしています。
