Job Description:
Working as USACO Corporation employee in USACO office and reporting professionally to Ex Libris Asia Pacific
Director of Professional Services in Singapore. As a member of Asia pacific Project team, you will be responsible for
the implementation phase of customer’s projects for the Aleph Integrated library system.
The position will include:
· Managing implementation projects of company products
· Managing multiple projects simultaneously and developing detailed project plans
· Support for pre sales activities
· Delivering training and consultancy services related to Ex Libris products as well as creating and
maintaining training materials and implementation documents.
· Team player with the ability to work independently with only little supervision
· Providing system configuration, analysis and support
· Close work with Ex Libris offices around the world and with customers
· Visiting customer sites (travel will be required)
Relevant Education:
· A Minimum Bachelors in one of the following areas:
Computer science / Library Science / Industrial management engineering
/ Information studies / Sciences
Job Requirements
· Strong Project Management experience in software industry and work experience in a Japanese
market.
· Previous experience in deployment of complex software projects such as ERP systems and project
management
· Excellent analytical skills and technical abilities
· Strong communication, training and presentation skills
· Experience in training delivery
· MS project and Office skills
· Familiarity with library world or deployment of library solution is very desirable
· The following skills are desirable:
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, XSL
- Experience with UNIX and Linux
- Experience with ORACLE
Languages:
Japanese – native tongue
Good English – talking, reading and writing
Personality traits :
· Service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and self motivated
· Team player with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
