ＷＯＷ！！コミュのDo anyone know curious or interesting custom which different to JAPAN :-)

Hi, nice to meet you everyone.
I'm HIDEMIND.

I'd like you to tell me the curious or interesting custom if you know.

I know one curious custom in England.
My friend who came back to Japan from England (she went there for Home Stay) told me the curious custom in England (maybe).

In England, if man say to woman in Restaurant " I will pay for you".
This sentence means that I will pay for you so please go somewhere with me after that.

And if woman say "Yes, Thanks !!", that mean Yes,I will go with you .
So, the wonan who says "Yes." have to (?) go everywhere the man want to.
Host mother in England firstly said to my friend "Be carefully!!".

In Japan, "I will pay for you." is incluede some meaning..
I think that depends on the man ( or sometimes woman?) who say this sentence.
And the woman (man) don't necessarily have to go with him (her), she or he can choose to go or not.

This is the curious custom I know, if you know any curious custom please tell me that(^O^)/

Yes ofcource, I understood what you said.
( I have not good English skill too ... but I want to use English a lot, So, I will keep to learn English )

Firstly, I think you have good friends ( I envy you. :-) )!!

Certainly, the meaning of the sentence "I will pay for you." depends on the person who says this phrase
in Japan I think.
So I was very surprised when I was heard from my friend.
Or this is only a local area in England and she happened to stay that area ?( I don't know...)
Do you think there are a lot of sentences which includes different meanings in the world ?

And I would like to know any other special rule or custom in all over world if you know.
