人外English Cafe英会話と文法コミュの鹿児島 advice

Hi everybody!

鹿児島の学会で発表しにいきます！発表が終わってから、観光したいけど、都内のいい観光スポットがありますか？それから、お勧めのバーとか、レストランは、だれかが教えて頂けないでしょうか？アドバイスお願いしまーす！！

I'm going to Kagoshima to present at a conference next month. I will
only have 1/2 a day free. Is there anybody here who has any good advice
about some cool things to see in Kagoshima?? (I won't have time to go
outside of the city, so it has to be local).

Also, do you know any good bars/restaurants? The conference is
small -- only about 120 people, and all Canadian teachers or Japanese
doing research on Canada or teaching. After the conference, I expect
about 20 or so people will go for beers and food. Any good suggestions??

監督!!! Thanks soooo much for the advice. Actually, it sounds exactly
like something I'd been interested in. I love places with gorgeous
views, and I like volcanoes. Bonus! OK, I just googled it:

OK, that's a good plan for the morning I fly back to Chiba.

Hey, now that I've found a great Kagoshima person, can you tell me what
the "must try" food is? For example, when I was in Fukuoka I had
博多ラーメン...and now I ONLY eat 博多面. So can I ask...what is the
super good, gaijin-will-love food??

My parents are from kagoshima. but I have not come to kagoshima so much....
aso I dont know any bars and restaurants. haha
but my dad loves Sake.... he would recommend Shothu... like 監督 says. :D

in my grandmom's house, there were volcanic ashes of Sakura-jimma was falling... she had to clean it every morning. its not so good.... but it was interesting for me, when i was kid.

anyway i hope you enjoy in kagoshima.
let me know what you would eat, and where you would go....:))

監督! Yeah, that's it. 黒豚! I've heard of that before. OK, I'll try it
for sure.

And Baby, it's been so long since I've seen you here. It's nice to see
you posting again. And I'm kind of excited about the whole ashes falling
thing. Very exotic!! Anyway, I'll keep you posted about my trip once I
get there. I have a history in these conferences of always finding the
best bar, so I'll try to do the same and post it this time. lol

OK, so now I have some sightseeing places and some food and booze lined
up. It's going to be a good trip :)

Hey everybody. Kagoshima was great! Thanks for the advice.

I tried both the Shochu, and the Kurobuta. I have some pics to share,
but I still have to download them. So give me some time.

Thanks Odorin. Actually, I STILL haven't finished with those
photos, and now I have so many new photos of Sapporo. I really
have to stop being so lazy and get them posted :)
