Hello, my name is Kaori Hiroi. My hometown is Nagaoka in Nigata prefecture. There is a lot of nature and I love all of hometown. When I was high school student, I was a member of photograph club. And I still love to take a photograph. I think photograph’s charm is what they can convey various things without wards. And I was able to know many important things from it.
So, today, I would like to talk about poverty in developing country that I knew on photographs and our happiness life.
Nowadays, a lot of photographers are taking many photographs in developing countries in order to report severe life. Their photographs tell about severity of the poverty in the world. People in a photograph wear a ragged cloths or nothing. People in a photograph live dilapidated house. After looking it, I think I’m really lucky to be born this environment. But I think that most of people who live in developed country think as a matter of course to live everyday. It’s doesn’t correct. If we were born in developing country, we probably don’t think so.
According to “IF THE WORLD WERE A VILLAGE OF 100 PEOPLE” If we could reduce the world’s population to a village of precisely 100 people, 80 would live in substandard housing, 24 would not have any electricity, 67 would be unable to read, If you have money in the bank, money in your wallet and spare change somewhere around the house, then you are among the richest 8, only one would have a college education.
After reading this sentence, I think happiness is rare thing. And I am one of those a few in the world who can live fortunately. It is very important to think that. That's all. Thank you!!
