Conclusion Artists have to present their work to be known by others that they are artists. But when the work is presented interpretations by the receiver will emerge. Even if the artist presents the thoughts attached to the work, the words used may not be able to completely define the feeling towards it. Art in itself will never create a living, but only when art is applied economically or socially does it create value. Artists are bounded by so many factors which all interfere with the individual from the art. Sociological research has started to show the factors of interference to the artists, and how art is used in society for benefits of artists and others, but I do not think it is able to give the reasons for art when it is created out of the boundaries of gains for the individual or society. Reason cannot be applied when there is no change in society in terms of gains or losses.
Sociology and art do not get along together. This is due to art and artists (but also to sociologists. (Bourdieu, 207)
