We are having a special guest speaker on Friday, 24th. Ms. Harumi Iwanami,who is an alumna of University of Minnesota, is visiting Minnesota. She is expecting to meet students and hoping to give us a small talk.
Ms. Harumi Iwanami (MBA, 1980-1982, University of Minnesota) has actively engaged in many business consulting activities. In particular, her professional career has focused on the field of human resource development consulting. In 2009, Ms. Iwanami was elected as President of Japan Minnesota Association (JMA) which was founded by the University of Minnesota Japanese alumni in 1984. The most recent JMA activity was the luncheon with Governor of the state of Minnesota. Ms. Iwanami and JMA invited Minnesota Governor Timothy James Pawlenty to the luncheon at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on September 17, 2010.
It will be a great opportunity to hear from our proud alumna about many interesting topics such as her own experience at the university as an international student,and her perspectives on current university students.
This event is not limited for students. Everyone is welcome. So please bring many questions and some enthusiasm to the event!
