Carmo sees Novo Tempo swerving deeply and smoothly into jazzual broken beats waters, the busy beats slicked with buzzing bass, glinting atmospherics and washes of distant horns. Supremely dramatic in a discreet kinda way.　Abbey features a one note bass pulse probing under precise beats and hypnotic dreamy textures. Ozaki provides three cuts on the flip, again floating through deep and evocative grooves. Again the music is restrained, yet beguiling in what it proffers. Seek it out if you are tempted by progressive Japanese jazz tempered with precision beats and beautiful harmonics. Avoid if you want to jump up and down with a glow stick. M7.5/M8
