Beautiful! The Ina Bauer also has inside and outside edge versions. To begin, the inside edge will be described. If you can do an inside spread eagle, you can usually do an inside Ina Bauer. Determine whether your natural direction is to the left or right, and which leg will go in front. Like an extended version of ballet’s fourth position, the front leg will be turned out from the hip as will the back leg. The only variation is that the front leg is bent, [like the plie, a ballet warm-up], and the back leg is kept straight. Even skaters with little turn out can do the inside Ina Bauer but usually only for a ½ circle. The arms are kept to the side and the skater looks to the wall or the ceiling, not down at the ice.
Sasha Cohen’s ina bauer is lovely (middle) Shizuka Arakawa (left and right) How she does her Ina Bauer is beyond my knowledge. You can’t call this an Ina Bauer - it’s a “Shizuka ™”
