Hi, I have a daughter who's 7 and half month old now. She still awakes a few times a night and drinks like 1 to 2 bottles of 6 oz. formula (she's been introduced to solid food for a month now, 3 times a day). Dr. told me that she's reached the point where she does not need feeding and sleep through the night, and if we keep feeding her, we're just basically training her to wake up through the night, which made sense to me. But if we don't give her a bottle, she'd just keep crying and eventually become wide-awake in the middle of the night. And I wonder if that's getting her used to wake up during the night anyway(or even worse, cause she'd at least go right back to sleep IF she gets a bottle and finish being fed). Does anybody have a good advise?
P.S (it's not related to the question above) my daughter's been having cold. Bad cough and running nose/stuffy nose but no fever. Would you still take a baby to the doctor?
