OK, it's been a while. I had finals ;-) Medical school is too fun... sometimes Japanese has to take a back seat.

えーぺ
「英語ペラペラ」の略語（造語・スラング）
Short for "えいごペラペラ": coinage, slung

えーぺ is a word coinded by Shinjo, a former professional baseball player.
If you know someone who is a big fan of him, you should use it. He/She definitely like you. haha

「俺アメリカ人だからエーペだよ」
「うちの部長エーペだよ」

Do NOT use it in a formal situation or for anti-Shinjo... You can be in trouble...

This is my first time to hear this word "えーぺ". I think it's funny to use that word between friends, right?

I'm not surprised that you've never heard えーぺ.
I think it's mainly used by Shinjo fan and may not be a common word.
Actually, I'm not a big fan of Shinjo, however, If I met someone who use the word "えーぺ", I definitely would find him/her humorous ;)
