NOVA 藤が丘校コミュのWhat kind of teachers are exciting for you ?

The other day, Mickey and I talked about exciting
teachers in VOICE.

I said :" Teachers who inspire me or If I
say something, they make extra comments or make the
conversation deeper. Those kind of teachers are
exciting for me."

And then, Mickey said:" We are told that students talk
more, teachers talk less. But, should I add comments
to what students said in a lesson?"

I said:"Yes."

He said:"Should I add grammatical comments, too?"

I said:" In a lesson, you should because students don't know what is correct and what is incorrect. But you
shouldn't add grammatical comments in VOICE."

He asked me: "What kind of teachers are boring for you?"

I said:" Teachers who just follow the teaching plans
and are not flexible are boring."

What do you think ?

Well...my good VOICE is everyone can talk in the VOICE.
I usually think in the VOICE I want to hear native speed.
Few teachers talk little fast,but some other teachers are slow...
I talked some teachers "I want to talk to nealy native speeker's speed.",so I think sometimes I can now...
Actually I like VOICE by B(initial).
Sorry I can't tell the name...it's privacy.
I really influence from him.

I think boring teacher and VOICE about if I say somethig,teacher only answer one thing and never asking question or spread the topic...
It's most boring for me.

I agree with you. I think the best VOICE is everyone including teachers speaks a lot. Yeah, teachers speak English to us much more slowly than they speak to native English speakers. I sometimes don't catch B's English, but it will be a good tranining. I like teacher F most because he applauds my VOICE topic book and is good at teaching for example, he can make the conversation deeper and give me lots of feedback. Unfortunately, I've never taken his lessons.

I think a good teacher is a teacher who is not always talking, but inspires the students to be motivated and work or speak freely. Traditional teachers -- people who always talk and expect students to listen, are not always good teachers. Sometimes they are, but it's better to have a teacher who guides you, not one who expects you only to absorb what you say.

For me, I like Japanese teachers who are cute! (hahahaha). I'm joking a little, but it helps me get motivated. haha.

Hi,Richard. Thax for your comment. I think you describe an exciting teacher very well. Someone who inspires student and can make a class interactive. It reminds me of my American Literature proffessor in college. She inspired me. I took notes very hard in her class and got into her major. And she encouraged students to ask questions and give opinions.
