特別英会話教室コミュの詩（？）の意味について･･･

今日始めて書き込ませていただきます。
私、このような素敵な（？）詩（？）をメールでいただいたのですが
私の英語力ではなんとも訳できなくて･･･
なんて書いてあるんでしょうか？返事ださなかったっら
立て続けに3通きたんです･･･

After the rain has fallen・
When the dust of the day・
Has been washed away・
As you watch the reflection・
Of the stars dancing upon・
The water-covered pavements・..
If you listen you can hear・
The beating of your own heart..・
But if you listen carefully・
Very, very carefully・
You may hear the heartbeats・
Of those you love

Have you ever walked the mountains
in early winter with moonlight as your escort?
And looking back at the blue mountain in the evening,
did you see your path lie as deep shadows in the snow?
Along your homeward path, were there any friends
there to greet you? And did you stop for a time,
glad for a chance to rest, and for a chance to drink
of liquid spirits and your friend痴 friendship?....
Did you sing to the rhythm of the wind through the pines; and hear your last song echo across the frozen peaks
just as the sun began to rise; and then,
being drunk with friendship and the dawn,
did you look through closing eyes at the
snow laden branches, smile, and drift off to sleep?
Or was that some other place and time
where the mountains yearned to touch the sky?
where you once did, and we still may
between us forget the world?
The light on the mountains is failing in the west and in the east
a slow moon rises and casts whispers of moonlight through the misty pines.
I picture you as you loosen your hair and then shake your head to enjoy the coolness of the evening.
Do you then lie down in peace? Or do you, as I do, think of one
far away, and stare longingly into the night?
Do you wish for soft music to play while you watch your final daydream?
And does the music murmur and echo softly through the mountain mists?I would take up my guitar and I would play, but who here would understand?
And how would you, how could you, hear it?
And so I think of you, my dear friend, you who trouble my midnight dreams,
and I smile, knowingly, for though we are separated by man-made myths,
and age, and seas and mountains・e are much alike.

Could I, with happiness, see a photo of all the real you
...For you are so distant from me

Could I, with dizziness, still stand before your beautiful piercing eyes
...For you are to me a dream
...And you are most likely not real
...And you have most likely another, next to you, each day.
Ah, but for tomorrow.
