Honda CR-Vコミュのtrying to get it in New York

I live in New York. Somehow, I decided to have a car. and I was looking forward to having Honda CR-V. Now I am not sure when I can have it.

the reason is..
I went to the honda potamkin dealer on 11th avenue on last friday, and paid in full with a certified check. the salesman who is Alberto called me to tell me TODAY that they did not have the car that i specified. and he said to me that it would be a back order, and take one or two months or more to get it. he was trying to persuade me to change the color. I ordered the sandy color. I did not give in. I do not want to have a black, a blue, a red or a silver. I WANT to have a Sandy color.. it was unexpected. it will be a fight. gahhhhhhhhhhsh.. i know the fact that it would not be good for me to take one or two months to get a car. because the amount money i paid would be adding up the interest. my friend thinks that i should not pay or let them earn the interest. yes.. right..
the fact is that I am Not really sure if I can get back a refund from Honda either.

Honda CR-V is very popular in the US as SUV type.

I am aware of the dealer that they are not interested in the coustomer who paid in full for the car, they prefer having a customer with the loan. that is the way they have much more profit than a full payment customer. in New York, at least I feel it from the dealer salesman.

I may or may not have Honda CR-V.. I still love this car. This incident may cause me to go to get Subaru SUV.

Hey! My name is Seiji. I live in Queens NY. I bought my CR-V in Connecticut 3years ago. when I bought my car, the dealer asked me many questions color, model, EX, LX or special edition, etc...

Couple days later, my dealer found a car in Boston and he drove all way down to Connecticut. I was lucky they had a car. Honda would not make car by customers' requests. if they don't have as your request, shits happened...

If I were you I would wait to get it for couple months. cause I love CR-V soooooo much. Dont' get Subaru!!

Seiji, thank you very much for the advise. it helpled me to hear your experience with the dealer salesman. I never thought that the car dealer actually drove the car from Boston to Connecticut. I am wondering that you would've not cared the miledge that he had to take with your new car CR-V? yes.. I understand if you did not agree then, you would've never had your CR-V by now. But Did your salesman told you about driving your New car?

So it is meant that it must be shortage Honda CR-V in the US. Now I can have a little to trust the salesman at Honda on 11th Avenue at 50th street in Manhattanl. He told me that he looked around 500 dealers in 7 states in the US for my CR-V. and told me that He could not find it. so that He had to do a back order.

But, He could have checked it before he accepted my payment. He quickly suggested me to change a color without offering anything. that is nonsense.

then do you know what he said to me at the end of meeting? He asked me to tell Honda survey customer servise that he was a rate 5 highest rate when the customer representive called me. that is a bullshit!

I feel now disgusted with him.

I called Honda and talked to the salesman and the Sales Manager. Both of them are together and trying to get me into a nightmare.

I was furious. Because the phone was made for Cancelling my order, as soon as I said that I would want to cancel it. i would like to get a money back,
THEN suddenly the thing happens,
Now the salesman was persuading me to have the new arrival today that was a sandy color with 2 wheel drive. they think that I just ONLY cared with the color??????? 2 wheel drive is stuipid for CRV. What is the purpose for getting USV car?? and THAT was Not my order either!!

I also said yesterday by email that was the salesman totally ignored me. which was that I said,

"then I would take a red color with yellow interior with $500 discount, because you could not meet my order, you are failed. 3 weeks waiting is enough, I already deposited a money on the 13th Nov. the salesman did not take seriously my order on the 13th Nov. I was already submited my credit card, your salesman did not do the job, that was your problem. then I paid in full on the 19th Nov. I was expected to get a car on the 23 Nov as the salesman promised me that was when I was suposed to pick up the car. "

then the salesman said about it today on the phone was that

"oh.... it's $500. less.. mhmhmh"

then, I said,
"anyway, I would like to cancell my order, please give me back a money exactly I paid. I don't want to have a business with you at all now"
THEN,
the salesman was very hesitated. and mumbling himself. and he did NOT say that they would give me back a money.
instead what he said was

"wait .. I will call you back about it"

then I became totally panicked!!!!!!!!

I hope that I can get a money back Tomorrow. that is the last conversation with the sales manager, and he said that he would.
