i had fun tonight. but on the way home, some little guy pushed me at yoyogi. so i kicked him in the ass. after that i turned around to walk away. then i heard him running, and then he tried to kick me in the ass, but he missed and kicked my leg. fucker. true story.

6955, I hear you on the manners thing. Some times I think they're being rude, and other times I think salarymen are afraid to say /anything/ that might invite confusion or retribution. Still, it's been a long time since I met any Japanese person that didn't at least know "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry" in English, let alone Japanese manners.

Screaming and pointing at them is probably more effective than direct physical assault.
