from mike: japan / post xgames

i'm in japan...just got here. the flight wasn't bad. 10+ hours, but i entertain myself. besides, i was working on lyrics on my laptop. we're here to play a couple FM shows -- we'll be at summer sonic in tokyo and osaka...plus i'm doing linkin park shows. i'll be doing two sets (FM and LP) on each of the summer sonic days--crazy! i'll have to make sure i don't talk too much on those days so i don't lose my voice!

anyway, i also should say that x-games was amazing. we had an impromptu hang out session on the corner outside the staples center. it was good to hang out with our FM street teamers and all of you who showed up to say hi. earlier that day, i ended up getting to ride along with ken block in his rally car after the rally practice, and he showed me what it was like to jump it off the dirt ramps. that was the first time i've ever been in a car that's left the ground, and it was pretty amazing...anyway, congrats to all the x-games athletes and my friends who competed. i had a lot of fun watching you do your thing. and thanks to all the fans who continue to support FM...we have a new "rising tied" single on the way to radio, so get ready!
