Insight Team and the Global Industry Business Unit (IBU)
The Insight teams are set up at a regional level reporting into Oracle’s Global Industry Business Unit, a team of 500+ professionals focused on driving Oracle’s vertical go-to-market strategy. Given the strategic nature of the work and the need to drive Oracle’s vertical strategy, the IBU team reports directly to the President. The high profile Insight team of 100+ strategy consultants supports top customers and deals across the globe. You will work primarily in your home region, but may be called on to work on global opportunities. Approximately 80-90% of your time will be focused on customer engagements, and you can expect to travel 40-60% of your time. Travel is usually very manageable and you will usually spend no more than 1-2 days a week at a specific customer site. Oracle encourages the virtual or remote office concept when not at a customer site or engaged in activities that require use of a branch office.
This position is a part of the Global IBU serving the JAPAC region, one of the most diverse and fastest growing division of Oracle (www.oracle.com)

The individual will be a senior member of the Oracle Insight program, driving delivery of value to JAPAC based customers. Key job elements include:
#Participate in customer engagements with the top customers and deliver high impact
#Provides direct deal support by leveraging industry knowledge, management consulting skills, quantitative and analytical abilities in identifying key drivers, assessing process capabilities and developing business case for process enhancement
#Integrates specific industry strategy customer operational objectives and business process understanding to define a clear solution strategy with actionable value communication and enables a successful customer experience
#Contributes to team thought leadership through constantly synthesizing the customer experiences into content and methodologies that can be leveraged
#Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills, and strong management consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies
Required Skills
#Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and participate on projects with varied industry focus and business imperatives
#Proven aptitude to work in a virtual team environment and ability to build consensus
#Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills
#Outstanding oral and written presentation communication skills
Profile: The ideal candidate(s) will have
#An MBA from a top-rated business school
#An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field would be preferred
#Experience with a premier consulting firm
#5-10+ years of experience with industry leading companies in the Financial Services, Public Sector, Education, Communication, or Manufacturing industries.
