Prayer for the Day
今日の祈り

I pray that I may not desire the world's applause.
此の世の 賞賛に 囚われません様に。

I pray that I may not seek rewards for doing what I believe is right.
私 が正しく生きる事に対して 報酬を 求めません様に。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

Everyone has two personalities, a good and a bad.
人は誰でも 自分の中に 善に向かおう!とするモノと、悪 を楽しむ 二つの人格を 見い出す事が出来る。

We are all dual personalities to some extent.
私達 人間は皆、或る程度 二重の人格を 持っているのだ。

When we were drinking, the bad personality was in control.
飲んでいた時は 良くない人格が 前面に出ていた。

We did things when we were drunk that we would never do when we were sober.
シラフでは 決して!ヤラ無い様な事を、飲んだ自分は ヤッて居た。

When we sober up, we are different people.
酔い が醒めると 全く違った人になって居た。

Then we wonder how we could have done the things we did.
ソウ云う時に 私達はヨク、どうして あんな事を 私はヤレたのだろう?と 思ったモノだった。

But we drink again, and again our bad side comes out.
ダガ 私達は又 飲み、そして再び 良くない自分で 行動したモノだった。

So we are back and forth, always in conflict with our other selves, always in a stew.
此の様にして 私達は 行ったり来たり、いつも もう一人の自分との 矛盾を感じ、どうしてヨイのか?判らなかったのだ。

This division of our selves is not good; we must somehow become unified.
此の 自分自身の分裂 は良い事では無い。人は 統一されナケレバならない。

We do this by giving ourselves wholeheartedly to AA and to sobriety.
此の 一つの自分 になる道は、AAと ソブラエティに 忠実に 生きる事によって 達成される。

Have I become unified?
私は 統一されてきているか?


Meditation for the Day
今日の黙想

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of Thy Lord.”
「善意と誠実 を大切にする僕(シモベ)、オマエは ヨクやった。神なる主の 喜びに参加しなさい。」

These words are for many ordinary people whom the world may pass by, unrecognizing.
此の言葉は、世の中が 目に止めず 見過ごしてきた 多くの普通の人々に、神から与えられた言葉 である。

Not to the world-famed, the proud, the wealthy, are these words spoken, but to the quiet followers who serve God unobtrusively yet faithfully, who bear their crosses bravely and put a smiling face to the world.
此の世に於ける 名声・地位・富 に対して では無く、此の言葉は、慎み深く・しかも 誠実に 神に従う生き方を 静かに実践していった人々・自分の十字架を 勇気を 持って担い･しかも 微笑を以て生きた人々に 与えられる言葉 である。

“Enter into the joy of Thy Lord.”
「神なる主の 喜びに参加しなさい。」

Pass into that fuller spiritual life, which is a life of joy and peace.
此の 完全なるスピリチュアル(霊的)な生命に 参加する事は 喜びと平和の人生を モタラす。
