ANA Web password

ANAのマイレージカードから、ウェブ用のパスワードを作れとメールが来ましたが、、、[1]

サイトに行ってみると、英語が？？？

国際線の人とかに添削してもらえなかったのでしょうか、、、（苦笑）



日本語サイトと比較しながら、少しツッコミを入れてみましょうか。[2]


1. We have requested registration of a Web password from September, 2014 to the customer.
An unregistered customer asks you for registration here.
「2014年9月より、セキュリティ強化のため、ANA公式Webサイトでログイン、各種手続きなどの操作に必要なパスワードとして「Webパスワード」の登録をお願いしております。
　以下より登録をお願いいたします。」

日本文には「お客様」が入っていないのに、なぜか"customer"が出てくる。

二文目は主語がメチャクチャ。なんで"customer"が"asks"しているの？

ちなみにGoogle様の回答。[3]
From September 2014, to enhance security, we ask you to register the "Web password" as the password required for the operation log, and various procedures at the ANA official Web site.
Thank you from the following registration.


2. It is required for login by an ANA official website, operation, and procedure.
「Webパスワードご登録後は、WebパスワードでのみANA公式Webサイトでもログインが可能となります。」

まあ、これ（"the"ではなく"an"）は日本人の英語でよく見かけるね。

文章の流れも、意味は通じますが違和感を感じます。

なぜか1.の内容（「手続き」や「操作」）が混ざってきているのが気になりますが、、、

「半角英数字の組み合わせで8〜16桁」

簡潔にして欲しいところを、ここまで複雑にしなくても。（笑）

他では"Required"を使っているのに、ここだけ"indispensable"。

確かにエッセイを書くときは同じ単語を使いまわすと幼稚に感じられますが、

手続き等の説明では混乱するだけと思われます。
