Portsmouth will be forced into making changes for the Carling Cup third round visit of Chelsea, with a growing injury list limiting Harry Redknapp's options.
Jermaine Defoe, Papa Boupa Diop, Sean Davis, Lassana Diarra, David Nugent and Sol Campbell are all out injured, so Kanu and Richard Hughes will start.
Chelsea will be without Deco (thigh) and Ricardo Carvalho (knee), who join Michael Essien (knee) on the sidelines.
Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack are still short of match fitness.
