ROBO DISCO TONIGHT! (Friday 20th June)
Dear Friends:

This evening (Friday, 20th June), Club Pacific Vol.3 is taking place at our usual venue
LIFE (2 - 4 Old Street, EC1V 9AA).

Club Pacific introduces you international Retro Analogue Robo Disco from
late 70's - early 80's. Yellow Magic Orchestra produced Pop Disco and
rare Japanese Retro Synth Pops and beyond.

Early Hours (8PM - 11PM) is Lounge Time, munch sushi and slurp sake to Japanese Film
Soundtracks, 80's Japanese Robo Pops.

Disco Hours (11 - 2AM): will rock you with Robo Disco and Novelty Records from all over
the world.

We have dress code (voluntary):
Flashing Lights or Bicycle Lights, if you have them, please bring them
and wear as a part of your Pacific Wear!
We want people to be flashing tonight.

Club Pacific will commence at 8PM, but Life bar offers happy hours between 5 - 8PM, arrive
early and you can buy cocktails from 3 pounds and pint of Kirin for 2 pounds.

Tonight's DJs:

Marcus Scott & Jon Burnip (= Disco Consultants):

2 of the most monstrous collectors of Robo Disco records from Warpmart, whose day jobs
provide limitless access to good Robo Sounds new and old. A rare appearance together!

Tom Hirst:

A hairy Father Christmas of Dalston music scene. His collections of LA Disco,
Robo Classics will send you to the boogie woogie.

And your regular hosts:

Oliver Baggott: A Vacuum of good Charity Shop record shelves. If you think there aren't
funky records left in your local charity shops, it is probably his fault.

Shintaro Taketani:

Witness to many London / Tokyo hedonism, will play nostalgic Robo Pop Disco from Japan
and beyond!
